DESCRIPTION
This TWI Structural Module for MAG (Flux Cored) Process, which TWI developed begins withunderstanding of the MAG (Flux Cored) welding process and the necessary materials and endswith workplace safety. The course was designed inclusively and reflects the experience gainedfrom developing TWI training materials. The practical exercises begin with welding bead-on-plate runs and progress step by step to structural fillet welds and butt welds up to the PE and PDpositions. This curriculum provides comprehensive theoretical and practical instruction for theMAG (Flux Cored) welding processes on carbon steel materials.
Target
The TWI Structural Module is intended to improve both theoretical knowledge and practical skills required for welding excellence. The module highlights the importance of welding safety by utilizing augmented reality (AR) technology, which allows participants to acquire animmersive experience while enhancing their psychomotor abilities. It also covers important topics such as documentation understanding, industry standard compliance, and workpiece preparation. Individuals will also learn about correct parameter input and how to assess the quality of welded joints using visual inspection techniques.
Format
The course can be viewed completely in the simulator including theoretical, assessment andpractical modules.
