Webinar: “How the Augmented Reality Technology developed by Seabery has improved the welding training in the context of the dual system of vocational education in Germany”
The Webinar was hosted by Seabery at its headquarters Augmented-Lab, and co-organized with its Chinese partner JYD. Nearly 30 professionals from the world of vocational training and welding from all corners of China participated in the event, all of them representatives or members of important Chinese companies, stakeholders, or organizations such as The Chinese Society for Technical and Vocational Education, etc.
Main topics discussed
Primarily, Seabery’s Regional Manager for China made a presentation of Seabery and clearly explained how leading technologies such as Augmented Reality (AR) for Welding Training are completely changing the way that TVET is conceived and making industrial training programs much more attractive, efficient, safe, and environmentally friendly. Then he presented the model of the dual system of vocational education and training in Germany and the success achieved by the cooperation between Seabery and the DVS (German Welding Association) thanks to the integration of specific contents of the association into digital ones through the EdTech solution designed by Seabery. These courses contain theoretical-practical training and exams.
After that, our Sales Development Representative for China and Southeast Asia, offered a demonstration of the use of Soldamatic, showing to the audience the welding training simulator powered with AR that allows training welders in a more efficient and sustainable way.
Feedback received after the presentation
The comments showed the great interest of the attendees, who asked some questions after the presentation. To give an example, Mr. Zhang, head of the welding training department of Kaiqi Education, in Chengdu province, said that Soldamatic is a very appropriate method for students who are approaching the world of welding for the first time.
As a result of the Webinar
Seabery continues making itself well known in China, enlarging its network of potential partners, and increasing its visibility among the main players of the industry. Very soon, Seabery will be pleased to invite you to attend a new Webinar focused on the world of robotics applied to welding training. Stay tuned!
