{"id":7893,"date":"2018-06-20T10:08:44","date_gmt":"2018-06-20T08:08:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/seaberyat.com\/soldamatic-singapore\/"},"modified":"2025-11-20T12:52:40","modified_gmt":"2025-11-20T11:52:40","slug":"soldamatic-singapore","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/seaberyat.com\/en\/soldamatic-singapore\/","title":{"rendered":"Singapore uncovers the latest trends and technologies for welding training"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Singapore has held the first educational event on welding training trends and technologies where the latest developments like Augmented Reality (AR) welding simulators were presented to the more than 150 attendants from welding training school managers to leading companies within the industrial sector.<\/p>\r\n<p>The seminar was organised by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uniweld.com.sg\/\">Uniweld<\/a> and supported by the Singaporean government and the <a href=\"https:\/\/e2i.com.sg\/\">e2i, the Employment and Employability Institute<\/a> and counted with the presence of the Singaporean Ministry of National Development, Trade and Industry, Mr. Koh Poh Koon, who was able to experience a first hand look at the future of welding training. The Ministry did not miss the chance to try Soldamatic the first welding simulator powered with Augmented Reality<\/p>\r\n<p>After the seminar, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/drkohpohkoon\/posts\/2451996864826319\">Mr Koh Poh Koon<\/a> stated that new technologies and particularly Augmented Reality simulation \u201cwill uplift the industry as a whole and that will help address three key challenges \u2013 reducing time spent on training and ensuring training is bite-sized; increasing effectiveness and efficacy of training; and ensuring the safety of our workers and the quality of the final product.\u201d<\/p>\r\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/d7tD8TsIc3M\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\r\n<p>These and other benefits of the latest developments in welding training were appreciated by both the Singaporean industries and the government who showed their will to adapt these technologies to their training and bring the next step in vocational training to their country.<\/p>\r\n<p>The Singaporean government for their commitment to bring Augmented Reality and new edtech solutions to their country to enhance welding training in Singapore, as other countries like Germany or China are already doing.<\/p>\r\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Singapore has held the first educational event on welding training trends and technologies where the latest developments like Augmented Reality (AR) welding simulators were presented to the more than 150 attendants from welding training school managers to leading companies within the industrial sector.
