When we introduce Seabery to the market we don’t talk about a “welding training solutions company” but about “the AR leading global Ed-Tech solutions provider” with the vision to attract, develop and empower the current and next generation of industrial labor globally.
Our business has historically been based on a single solution to train manual welding skills in vocational training schools, however we all know that we’re moving even closer to meet the real requirements of the Industry because the international welding training education standards are not enough and the traditional welding training system is extremely unattractive and inefficient.
Taking the above we’ve built the most complete welding training and performance digitalization value proposition in the market with a series of services around the Soldamatic AT solution in order to meet the real welding training requirements of the market, being now able to train a manual welder (and a robotic welder very soon) on almost any REAL welding coupon, meaning that in the future it will not make sense to weld directly in real without doing it first on Augmented. Can you imagine that? Of course you can.
And our innovation doesn’t stop at technology – we are actually also moving forward in our business model allowing now our customers to get yearly licenses (you will hear a lot about SaaS, subscriptions, etc.) without the need to buy Soldamatic upfront, just like in other sectors like the car market where no one really actually buys a car but use a financial solution for that (credit, renting, leasing…) – can you imagine the car market without financial solutions? Not really!
The opportunity is massive! And so is the challenge. We’re experiencing that industrial customers are much more demanding when it comes to visual realism, defectology, accuracy… it requires for all of us to bring up the best and to deliver excellence and efficiency at all levels (product, sales, marketing, operations, administration…).
And surely we can make it happen and we will make it happen, just like we always do.
